Finding a crystal

Finding a crystal you may need isn’t always as hard as it seems. You’ll usually know what crystal you need almost immediately upon looking at it. A stone you need is going to draw you directly towards it. When you can’t stop picking up that crystal, reading about it, thinking about, comparing it to another then going back to it, then chances are you could really use that stone and its energy. You’d be surprised how many people buy a stone, read its properties later on and realize how much it resonates with their current needs. If it’s unaffordable for you but you want it, don’t get it. You can save for it or look for a different variety/grade of that stone that will fit your budget, you don’t need to spend money out your range to work with crystal energy.

Another method you can use to find a crystal is going by your 7 main chakras. Chakras are energy points in your body that correspond to nerves and organs that affect our emotional and physical being. When a chakra like your heart chakra is low you’re likely going through grief, trauma, or heartbreak. Using that you can gather stones that resonate with your heart chakra and work with the ones you feel excitedly drawn to. You can determine if your chakras are high or low with a quick pendulum scan of them! Doing this allows you to understand your chakras better and find imbalances that need to be worked on.

Your 7 main chakras are:

Root chakra: Located at the base of spine. It represents earth, grounding and foundation. Color correspondence: Red, brown, black

Sacral chakra: Located about 4 inches below the naval. It connects with self-esteem, connection with others and creative/sexual energies. Color correspondence: Orange, orange/yellow and red.

Solar plexus chakra: Located slightly above the belly button. It represents identity, personal power and pleasure. Color correspondence: Yellow, yellow/orange

Heart chakra: Located in the center of chest. It represents love, compassion and relationships. Color correspondence: Pink and green,

Throat chakra: Located at the base of throat. Represents clear communication, spoken truths and expression. Color correspondence: Blue

Third eye chakra: Located above and between the eyes, center of forehead. Representing our creative power, spiritual awareness and openness. Color correspondence: Purple, blue

Crown chakra: Located on the top center of the head. Connects to source/universe, ones higher power and spiritual growth. Color correspondence: White and purple

Problems lying in your chakras can usually be spotted and worked on with crystal energy. It’s good to memorize and get use to the chakra system when you begin diving into crystal healing, they will come in handy!
